&Now Festival 2008

Project goals: The &Now Festival is an avant garde literary festival, showcasing the best and the brightest in modern progressive literature. Chapman University was chosen to host the 2008 festival, and accordingly needing a cutting-edge site which could be easily maintained, once posted, and updated with breaking news about the festival.
The solution in this case, was to co-opt WordPress, the Open Source blogging platform, and use it as a lightweight publishing system.
The end result is a lightweight, simple site, that the festival owners can edit and update with news during the run-up to the event, and during.
Highlights: I personally love the minimalist grunge-lit aesthetic, myself, but the backend on the is equally impressive.
